Description
IGF-1 LR3 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 Long Arg³) is a synthetic analog of human IGF-1, engineered with a 13-amino acid N-terminal extension and a substitution of arginine for glutamic acid at position 3. These structural modifications confer a significantly prolonged half-life (up to 20–30 hours in vivo) and markedly reduced affinity for IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), resulting in enhanced bioavailability and sustained biological activity.
